Aviation Ground Support Technician

Granite Air Center is seeking an Aviation Ground Support Technician to provide high quality service to general aviation customers. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! Training will be provided. This is a rare opportunity to work in the highly sought after aviation field! Highly competitive compensation includes competitive starting salary, tips, annual safety bonus, profit sharing, and 401(k) with company match.

Responsibilities of this full-time position include, but are not limited to fueling, parking, towing, and de-icing aircraft, as well as fuel farm operations, general grounds & building maintenance, and assisting customers on arrival & departure. Physical requirements include stepping up & down ladders and equipment, lifting up to 75 lbs, bending and stooping, standing & walking for extended periods, and good hand-eye coordination. Position requires working flexible hours, weekends, and holidays. Must have clean driving record and be able to pass a background check.

Ground Support Technicians are key employees who must be committed to safety, able to follow procedures, operate equipment, learn & execute hand signals, and understand aircraft refueling requirements. Candidates must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, team environment. Excellent customer service & communication skills and basic computer & math skills are required. On the job training provided for the right candidate. Customer Service Representative

Granite Air Center is seeking a full-time customer service representative: Highly competitive compensation includes competitive starting salary, annual safety bonus, profit sharing, and 401(k) with company match. Position assists customers with fuel orders, catering, hangars, accommodations & ground transportation, answers questions & resolves issues, assists with ramp safety & security, invoices & accepts payments, communicates via phone, fax, face-to-face, email and air-to-ground radio, and maintains appearance of passenger/pilot areas. Friendly rapport, sincere interest in helping customers, ability to prioritize tasks & balance competing needs in a calm, efficient manner required. Basic computer & math skills, high school diploma/GED, & valid driver’s license required. Interest in aviation & good sense of humor a plus. 401(k) with company match, health, dental, vision, short/long term disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, and paid vacation..
